To provide a laser device which increases the wavelength width of laser beam up to several nm while satisfying a pseudophase matching condition of a periodical poling structure of a nonlinear optical element capable of obtaining high conversion efficiency.
The laser device includes: a fundamental wave generating portion 14 which has a semiconductor laser 11 having a plurality of luminous points 12, and a Bragg reflection structure 13 and generates a plurality of fundamental waves having wavelengths which are different from each other in at least one set thereof; and a nonlinear optical element 15 in which a poling structure 16 pseudophase-matched for the wavelengths of the plurality of fundamental waves L1 emitted from the fundamental wave generating portion 14 is formed so as to be varied along the propagating direction of the fundamental waves L1.
