To accurately identify line laser light in the horizontal direction and in the vertical direction on a wall surface to be marked, by defining and maintaining the horizontal and vertical state of a light-receiving element in a light receiver, and to thereby execute a marking work accurately, in a laser device for marking for receiving the line laser light irradiated horizontally or vertically, and detecting an irradiation position of the laser light.
This laser device for marking is equipped with a laser light source for generating a horizontal or a vertical line laser light, and irradiating the light toward the wall surface to be marked; and the light-receiver having the light receiving element arranged on the wall surface to be marked, for receiving the line laser light, and a gimbal mechanism for defining and holding the horizontal and vertical state of the light-receiving element.
