In order to obtain high power density and energy, a laser irradiation source (1) has a plurality of directly modulatable fiber lasers (2) of a diode pumping type, with an output terminal of the fiber laser bundled and arranged in one. The laser irradiation line emitted from the output terminal of the fiber laser (2) is collected and converged by an optical unit (8), so that the laser irradiation source hit one working spot (24) on a surface (81) to be worked.
