Abstract:
To solve a problem that a thermoplastic resin should permeate laser in the use of laser heating for local heating when joining a metal or an inorganic joining material and the thermoplastic resin.
In a laser joining method, a thermoplastic resin and a metal material contact with each other and a laser beam is irradiated to the metal material without being transmitted to the thermoplastic resin to heat the metal material and the thermoplastic resin and to join the thermoplastic resin and the metal material. Consequently, the method for laser joining is provided even if the thermoplastic resin is not light-permeable.
