Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a laser oscillator which is compact and capable of improving an output by coupling a discharge unit composed of cathodes and anodes opposed in a hermetically sealed vessel filled with mixture gas in multi-stage series.
CONSTITUTION: A discharger 2, a cooler 3 and a blower 4 are disposed in a hermetically sealed vessel 1, and laser gas made so-called of CO2, N2 and He is circulated in a direction of an arrow 5. The discharger 2 is disposed in series with cathodes 21 and anodes 22 so that five discharging gaps are formed to produce 5 laser light beams 61∼65. In other words, 5 times laser output lights can be produced without remarkably increasing the size of the vessel 1.
