PURPOSE: To provide a laser photo-plotter system capable of an efficient working without burdening with a data processing at a CAM side.

CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with an input means 14 to input pattern data, a data creating means 16 to create a 1st data showing positions of a line segment, a point, etc., included in a pattern and to create a 2nd data showing a position of a line, etc., making up the profile of a surface part based upon the pattern data, a 1st storing means 18 to store this data, a laser photo- plotter means 22 to work a working pattern as it is scanned with laser beam, a 2nd storage means 24 to store the 1st and 2nd data supplied and a controlling means 26 to create a working pattern date based upon the 1st and 2nd data and to make a laser photo-plotter means 22 to be worked based upon it.
