Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser welding device capable of reliably bonding a stranded wire exposed on one edge of a stranded wire cable to an inner part of a terminal of an electric component.SOLUTION: A laser welding device includes a sheet spring in which a concave part is formed on an edge forming a tip, a pressing part which is disposed separately at a prescribed interval from the sheet spring and a laser irradiation unit which irradiates the stranded wires with a laser beam. Therein, the sheet spring is bent in a convex shape in the tip direction of the stranded wires, presses the stranded wires against the terminals and is moved in the tip direction of stranded wires while aligning the stranded wires within the concave part, the pressing part presses the stranded wires against the terminals on the back side rather than a region where the sheet spring is moved, and the laser irradiation unit irradiates a part between the sheet spring and the pressing part with a laser beam after the sheet spring is moved by a prescribed distance in the tip direction and the stranded wires and the terminals are bonded.
