Title:
LASER WELDING METHOD FOR LIGHTING FIXTURE FOR VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002292741
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To control the generation of stress cracking in a body when the body is laser-welded to a PC lens.
The contact end parts 10 and 20 of the lens 1 formed from a resin which can transmit laser beams as a heating source and PC and the body 2 formed from a resin which can absorb laser beams and PC are contacted with each other. By diagonally irradiating the welding surface of the contact and part 20 of the body 2 with laser beams from the lens 1 side, the welding surfaces of the contact end part 10 of the lens 1 and the contact end part 20 of the body 2 are welded together by heat-melting to join the lens 1 to the body 2 integrally.
