To obtain a laser which can improve light power density of a laser light and the light sources of which can be aligned easily.
A laser is provided with light sources 4a, 4b, 4c, and 4d which are positioned to four points in a square shape and respectively emit stripe-light parallel luminous fluxes, and a reflecting body 8 which is arranged inside the light sources 4a-4d and has four reflecting surfaces 6a-6d, which reflect the parallel luminous fluxes emitted form the light sources 4a-4d in the same direction. Consequently, a parallel luminous flux group having a sufficient light power density can be obtained, when the parallel luminous fluxes emitted from the light sources 4a-4d and reflected by the reflecting surfaces 6a-6d of the reflecting body 8 are condensed. In addition, since the reflected parallel luminous fluxes do not overlap each other, the light intensity distribution of the focused spot of the parallel luminous flux group can be made uniform at condensing of the reflected parallel luminous fluxes, and the parallel luminous fluxes can be made incident easily to the corresponding reflecting surfaces 6a-6d from the light sources 4a-4d.
