To manufacture a shoe with a pad previously attached to the surface of an insole in a shape along a last with accurate yield.

A hollow 13 of a shape corresponding to the pad 7 previously attached to the surface of the insole of a sole 3 of the shoe is formed on the last 11 used in bonding the sole 3 and an upper 2 in the process of manufacturing the shoe. Then, the pad 7 attached to the surface of the insole of the sole 3 is stored in the hollow 13, and the last 11 is applied to the sole 3. After that, the instep 2 is laid over the last 11, and the edge of the cover 2 is bonded to the sole 3 to make the shoe. As the pad 7 is stored in the hollow 13, the upper 2 and the sole 3 fit the last 11 without forming a gap, so that the shoe in the shape of the last 11 can be manufactured.
