A pair of latch devices A which allows a retaining member 3 to be sunk into a latch body by pulling a shaft member arranged orthogonaly to the retaining member 3 provided free to rise from or sink into the latch body is mounted on one surface on the side of a door body 1 of furniture or the like at an interval. At this point, the retaining members 3 of the latch devices A are arranged to be interlocked and the shaft members stick out to another surface of the door by piercing the door body 1 while end parts of a handle 5 are mounted at the tips thereof. The retaining members 3 are released from the locking thereof on a retaining seat 4 mounted on the side of a case body 2 of the furniture or the like by pulling the handle 5.
