Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latch device with a dead-bolt by which one does not forget to lock a door because the latch and the dead-bolt can be simultaneously unlocked in a single manipulation and a key can not be drawn unless the door is locked.
SOLUTION: A locking unit 1 in which the putting-in and out position of a key 4 for the key hole 3 of a roter 2 is limited in one position is fixed to the front face plate 5a of a fixing case 5. A passive wall 8a of a latch 8 and a first passive wall 9a of a dead-bolt 9 are pushed to retreat to the unlocking position. Further, a cam plate 11 advanced to the locking position by pushing a second passive wall 9b of the dead-bolt 9 is fixed to the roter 2. The second passive wall 9b is formed so that the dead-bolt 9 is located at the foremost advanced position when it is turned to the putting-in and out position.
