Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of an interlocking mechanism for transmitting the rotating force of a handle member 14 to a latch device. SOLUTION: A handle member 14 is provided on a drawer 3 rotatably around its rotating axis, and a latch body 8 is arranged on the drawer 3 so as to be rotatable around a pivotal axis 36 crossing the rotating axis 20 and energized in an engagement direction. The latch body 8 comprises a working rod 29 extending across the pivotal axis 36, and a contact body 40 extending across the rotating axis 20 is arranged on the working rod 29. The handle member 14 comprises a pair of operating pins 48 and 49 with the rotating axis 20 between. When the handle member 14 is rotated, either one operating pin according to the rotating direction presses the contact body 40, whereby the working rod 29 is rotated in the engagement releasing direction of the latch body 8.
