PURPOSE: To facilitate opening of a door by constituting a latch of the head projected outward and the tail having a horizontal missing groove, and providing a guiding groove guiding an internal claw of the latch and an intrusion groove into which an external claw is inserted to a guide body to form a latch guide device.

CONSTITUTION: A latch guide device 6 is constituted of a guide body 8, a latch 3 and a push bar 7. The latch 3 is constituted of the head 3a projected outward and the tail 3b having a horizontal missing groove 34, and an internal claw 31 and an external claw 32 are provided to each of them. The guide body 8 is formed in the U-shape, and an induction groove 18 and an intrusion groove 28 are provided to an inside plate 8a and an outside plate 8b respectively. After that, the internal claw 31 of the latch 3 is inserted into the guiding groove 18 on the guide body 8, and the external claw 32 of the latch 3 is inserted into the intrusion groove 28, so that the latch 3 is capable of turning in any direction of the inside and outside of a room. According to the constitution, the drawing-out resistance from a latch receiving metal fixture can be reduced to facilitate opening of a door.
