Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latch lock for a fire door in which flame and smoke can inexpensively be prevented from coming around an evacuation passage in fire breakout.SOLUTION: A latch lock 11 for a fire door is provided with: a case 43 provided in the door upper part and door lower part of the door end side of the door 13 supported to a door frame 17; an inversion latch 45 held to the case 43 retractably and swingably, and engaged with an engagement hole 51 of the door frame 17; a slope 73 formed on a closed door side surface of the inversion latch 45 and retracting the inversion latch 45; an advancing/retracting direction parallel plane 75 formed on an opening door side surface of the inversion latch 45 and swinging the inversion latch 45; a guide surface 77 formed to the inversion latch 45 and conforming in the advancing/retracting direction; a regulation member 79 supported to the case 43, biased in the position coming into slide contact with the guide surface 77 by a regulation spring, and permitting retraction of the inversion latch 45 to inhibit swinging; and a stopper 47 for holding the regulation member 79 in the position not coming into slide contact with the guide surface 77 against the regulation spring, and dissolved or deformed due to heat in the fire to release the holding.
