Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to hold a latch bold in an interlocking release state when the latch bolt is unlocked and controlled with an operating device in a latch lock having the latch bolt advanced and energized toward the side of an interlocking attitude with a spring and to facilitate the releasing operation when a plurality of latch locks are loaded to a cover body.
CONSTITUTION: A hold mechanism holding and fixing a latch bolt 5 in an unlocking state is added to a latch lock. The hold mechanism is constituted of a holding body 22 for sliding along the latch bolt 5, a spring 23 advancing and energizing the holding body, a lock arm 24 provided to the latch bolt 5, a contact section 25, etc. By taking advantage of releasing operation of the latch bolt 5, the lock arm 24 is charged over in an interlocking attitude at the contact section 25. The lock arm in such a state is received by a stopper piece 26 provided to the holding body 22. The holding body is received by the circumferential edge wall of a bracket 2. As a result, the latch bolt 5 can be held and fixed to an interlocking release position.
