Abstract:
To provide a latch mechanism capable of releasing the engagement with an engagement part without rotating a moving part, and an image formation device.SOLUTION: A latch mechanism comprises: an operation part; a connection part which extends in one direction with one end connected to the operation part; a regulation part which regulates the connection part so that, when the operation part is moved to one side in an intersecting direction that intersects with the one direction, the other end of the connection part is moved to one side of the one direction; a moving part which is connected the other end of the connection part, and extends in one direction, and moves from a first position to a second position accompanying movement of the other end of the connection part; and an engagement part which engages with the moving part placed at the first position, and disengages from the moving part placed at the second position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
