Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strong latching device simple in constitution, in which a bearing part to which a large mechanical stress applied to a weld part in working is not applied and a journal part of an annular ring are cooperated with each other to protect the weld part.
SOLUTION: This latching device 1 includes: a housing 2 fixed to a panel P, a bearing part 4 incorporated in the housing, an annular hook 3 having a cylindrical journal part 6 rotatably supported on the bearing part, to which both ends 34 of a U-shaped part 31 are integrally connected; and a lid 5 fixing the bearing part in the inside of the housing and turned back and extended from a part of the housing. Two radial flanges 71, 71 demarcate an axial central area 70 of the journal part including the weld part W, and the bearing part and a base plate 22 of the housing are provided with recessed grooves 7 for receiving two flanges through an axial clearance S. One of radial faces of the recessed grooves and one radial face of the outside of the radial flange only abut on each other to support axial stress.
