To provide a coating film formation composition for forming latent curing agent coating film that enables curing at a lower temperature than before and that can yield a cation curable composition having improved 1-liquid storage stability.SOLUTION: Provided is a latent curing agent coating film formation composition, which is a latent curing agent coating film formation composition that is used for forming the coating film in a latent curing agent having a porous particle holding an aluminum chelate compound and a coating film on the surface of the porous particle, and contains an isocyanate compound and an aluminum chelate compound, and in which the contained amount of the isocyanate compound is 10 mass% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
