Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate the manufacture of a gas laser tube by mounting a cathode electrode on an insulator with many graphite units, thereby reducing the number of used electrodes.
CONSTITUTION: A cathode electrode 8 is formed by mounting many graphite units on an insulator 7. Since the dissociation of carbon dioxide gas can be suppressed in this manner, the number of used electrodes can be reduced to facilitate the manufacture of a gas laser tube.
