To carry out a side shifting or a correction of the direction of a pillar erecting vehicle easily, by controlling two lines of outriggers at the left line and the right line so as to make the other side line to 'return' when one side line is 'projection', in the pillar erecting vehicle furnishing outriggers making two pairs at the left side and the right side along the front line and the rear line.

When the whole body of a pillar erecting vehicle is side shifted to the left side, for example, two outriggers A1 and C1 positioned at the left line is projected to the left side, and two outriggers B1 and D1 positioned at the right line are returned to the left side as the part of the above projection. Then, the jacks are lowered and the pillar erecting vehicle is pushed up, and the tires are floated up. Under such a condition, two outriggers A1 and C1 positioned at the left line are returned to the right side, and the two outriggers B1 and D1 positioned at the right line are projected to the right side as the part of the above return, so as to move the whole body of the pillar building vehicle to the left side. Such operations are controlled by the changeover operation of the left side and the right side direction changeover valves 3 and 4, and BV changeover valves 6 and 7.
