Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a compact lathe easy to manufacture for machining a railway wheel.
CONSTITUTION: This lathe for a railway wheel supports an axle 1 with a grease box of itself. The couple of force required to offset cutting force is generated by a tensile roller 4, this machining work is conducted by merely passing the whole surface to be machined through this machine once, and a tensile head is oriented by the alignment of an actual tread band 5.
