To provide a laundry machine which prevents an unbalanced state and is provided with a control which shortens the time of unbalance correction as much as possible.
A starting rotation number at the time of low-speed rotation of a washing and spin-drying tub is raised to the first, second and third three steps. The rotation number is maintained in a predetermined time at each step, and an unbalance quantity is detected during the first, second and third rotation number maintenance time. The unbalance quantity is compared with threshold values provided for respective rotation numbers. When it is larger than the threshold value, rotation starting is performed again, and a control pattern is changed by the rotation number. Also, when the unbalanced state is detected at the first and second rotation number, a detection number of times is counted, and the control pattern at the time of detecting a predetermined number of times is changed. Also, in the case where the count number differs from an initial value when the unbalanced state is detected at the first and second rotation number, the maintenance time at the second rotation number is shortened.
