PURPOSE: To peel laver sheet from a laver screen, surely and efficiently, by sucking the laver sheet to the lower surface of a perforated belt with a vacuum sucking device mounted to a movable frame.

CONSTITUTION: A sucking device 27 is mounted to a movable frame 14, and a connecting pipe 28 of the device 27 is connected to a vacuum pump. A laver sheet X is peeled off from a laver screen Y to the lower face of a perforated belt 4 with the sucking device 27. When a laver screen Y with laver is introduced into the peeling mechine, the laver sheet is sucked to the lower face of the belt 4 and transferred backward, and the front end of the screen Y actuates a limit switch LS to clamp the rear end of the screen Y. The front end of the screen is clawed with a rotary drum 8 of a peeling mechanism C, and the drum rotates counterclockwise. The screen Y is abruptly folded forward and downward, and stretched while being clamped its rear end. The front end of the laver sheet X is peeled off from the screen X by this action, and sucked to the lower face of the perforated betl 4.
