Abstract:
PURPOSE:To find the degree of drying of laver or the like in the early stage by providing a bamboo mat receiving base which is so set that a hot blast from a fan is blown to the laver which is placed on this base and is made into a sheet, a weighing equipment which measures the weight of laver on the receiving base, etc. CONSTITUTION:This instrument consists of a fan 24 which blows a hot blast heated at a prescribed temperature by a heater 25, a bamboo mat receiving base 15 which is so set that the hot blast is blown to lever 31 which is placed on this receiving base and is made into a sheet, a weighing equipment which measures the weight of laver 31, and a controller 28 which measures and displays the time required for drying of laver 31 up to a prescribed set weight by an air current. Laver 31 on a bamboo mat 32 is placed on the receiving base 15 together with the bamboo mat 32 and its weight is measured, and a start button of the controller 28 is depressed to read in and display the output value of the weighing equipment 14, and the drying time is measured. When this state is held, the measured value of the weigher 14 is reduced because laver 31 made into a sheet is gradually dried; and when the measured value reaches a preliminarily set dried weight value, a time measuring part is stopped and the drying time is measured and displayed. Thus, the drying time of laver 31 is found to decide the quality of undried laver.
