In the lawn mower which is composed of a mower apparatus 16 mounted on a traveling machine body 1, the grass collecting body 30 for collecting reaped grass by the mower apparatus 16 and a lift mechanism 31 for liftably and lowerably supporting the grass collecting body 30 on the traveling machine body 1 and is made to raise the grass collecting body 30 by the lift mechanism 31 and to unload the mowed grass 89 in the grass collecting body 30, the lift mechanism 31 is equipped with masts 45 and 46 stood on the rear end of the traveling machine body 1, a lift body 47 liftably and lowerably arranged on the masts 45 and 46, a lift drive means 48 for lifting or lowering the lift body 47 and a rolling means 78 for unloading the mowed grass 89 in the grass collecting body 30 and is operated so that the lid body 77 of the grass collecting body 30 is opened and moved around an opening and closing fulcrum shaft 83 upward to the rear while rolling the grass collecting body 30 around a rolling fulcrum shaft 72 downward to the rear by the rolling means 78.
