Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to lay a cable smoothly and to drastically improve the efficiency of transporting equipment required for cable lay-out work or laying, other parts uninvolved with the laying and so on.
SOLUTION: A laying or transporting device is provided with a steel rod 13, a traveling body 14, which, with a pair or more than a pair of driving and driven rollers 18 and provided on the steel rod 13 in such a way as to be capable of traveling by clutching the steel rod 13 with the driving and driven rollers, a mounting member 26 for mounting a material 11 to be laid is fixed to in such a way as to be detachable, an electric motor 22, which rotates the driving roller, and a feeding means, which feeds the electric motor. It is preferable that a large diameter part is formed on the driving and driven rollers to lock and hang the traveling body on the steel rod 13, that a worm wheel is fixed to the rotating shaft of the driving roller and that a worm gear is linked to the driving shaft of the electric motor. It is further preferable that a driven suspending bracket 31 is fit onto the steel rod 13 following the traveling body and that a mounting bracket 36 is fixed to the bottom part of the driven suspending bracket 31.
