Abstract:

To stably and uniformly control the layer thickness of magnetic particles, to form a magnetic particle layer thickness control member into a highly accurate and strong shape, to make the magnetic particle layer thickness control member compact, and to save the space of a magnetic brush type contact charging device, and to constitute the member, so that the number of assemblage process is reduced, as for a magnetic brush type contact charging device.

The layer thickness control means is formed by drawing performed in the longitudinal direction and at least in an charging area. The layer thickness control means is fastened/supported at two points at both ends of drawing.
