Abstract:
To provide a layered belt capable of exhibiting excellent durability even when it is used under severe conditions such as repeated bending like a fixing belt for electromagnetic induction heating and repeated heating and cooling, and an industrially advantageous method for manufacturing the layered belt.
The layered belt comprises an inner layer (1) which is a substrate layer made of polyimide resin and an outer layer (3) which is metal. A conductive heat-resistant resin layer (2) is provided between the inner layer (1) and the outer layer (3), for serving as an adhesion layer of the two layers (1) and (3).
