Abstract:
To directly stack square timbers connected in a longitudinal direction without through a spacer member and a square timber across the connection surfaces, and prevent an increase in heights of beams beyond necessity.SOLUTION: An overlapping connection beam 1 includes: upper connection plates 15 and 16 which are mounted on front faces and back faces across a first square timber 11 and a second square timber 12; lower connection plates 17 and 18 which are mounted on the front faces and the back faces across a third timber 13 and a fourth timber 14; a long wood screw 19L connecting the first square timber 11 and the third square timber 13; a long wood screw 19R connecting the second square timber 12 and the fourth square timber 14; a block 20L for preventing mutual deviation between the first square timber 11 and the third square timber 13; a block 20L for preventing mutual deviation between the second square timber 12 and the fourth square timber 14; a washer 21a covering the upper surfaces across the first square timber 11 and the second square timber 12; a bolt 21 with a washer composed of a shank 21b penetrating through the first square timber 11 and the third square timber; and a washer 22 with a nut covering the lower surfaces across the third square timber 14 and the fourth square timber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
