A box-shaped housing case for transporting the layout panel which forms the diorama on the surface thereof has a bottom plate making up the bottom surface thereof and a layout panel holding means which holds the layout panel erected on the bottom plate so as to make the surface of the layout panel face the inside of the housing case while the rear of the layout panel makes up one side of the housing case. This enables the holding of the layout panel erected on the bottom plate keeping the surface thereof, where the diorama is formed, facing inward to house or transport the layout panel without causing the breakage or the like of the diorama.
