PURPOSE: To prevent charging with static electricity and damaging a battery due to discharging spark by putting a layered body consisting of an insulating layer in the surface and a non- insulating layer in the inside or the lower part on the upper face of a cover, covering liquid inlet parts, and connecting it with an automotive body.
CONSTITUTION: A layered body 1 consisting of an insulating layer 3 in the surface and a non-insulating layer 2 in the inside or the lower part is put on the upper face of a cover 6 and at the same time, liquid inlet parts are covered with at least this layered body 1 and it is connected with an anode terminal 5 or an automotive body containing metal fittings for fastening a battery. In other words, the layered body 1 is opened at the spots corresponding to the liquid inlet parts 4 and at the same time has a shape having a hole for connecting with an anode terminal 5 and is stuck to the upper side of the cover 6. Consequently, even if charging with static electricity and discharging spark are generated in the periphery of the liquid inlet parts 4, they are earthed to the automotive body through the non-insulating layer 2 of a metal film of the layered body 1 and the anode terminal 5. Also, since the non- insulating layer 2 is insulated by the insulating layer 3 at the surface, short-circuit is not caused even if a metal body such as a driver. etc., exists between the non-insulating layer 2 and the insulating layer 3. As a result, damaging of a battery is prevented.
