Abstract:
To provide a discharge wire used for a wet electric dust collector and capable of effectively restraining the occurrence of elongation of the wire due to aging or the like.SOLUTION: A lead-coated discharge wire of the present invention is a lead-coated discharge wire 12 covered with lead and forming a discharge electrode 24 of a wet electric dust collector. The lead 31 is coated on a core wire 30 made of stainless steel, and a diameter of the stainless core wire 30 is within a range of 1.0 mm-2.0 mm. A cross section of the lead-coated discharge wire 12 orthogonal to the longer direction is preferably a star shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
