To provide a lead by which an electrode for stimulating a nerve and an electrode for defibrillation can be less invasively implanted and long period treatment is properly carried out by holding electrode positions of the electrodes without applying load to the nerve.
The lead 10 has a lead wire 15 having a flexible electroconductive wire, at least one nerve stimulating electrode 11 connected to the terminal end of the lead wire 15, a connector 14 arranged in the base end of the lead wire 15 and connectable to a device body applying a voltage to the electrodes, a defibrillation electrode 13 connected to the lead wire 15 between the nerve stimulating electrode 11 and the connector 14, and a stopper 17 arranged on the lead wire 15 between the nerve stimulating electrode 11 and the defibrillation electrode 13 and holding the lead length between the nerve stimulating electrode 11 and a heart sac longer than a predetermined length by positioning the same on the heart sac.
