Title:
LEAD WIRE DEVICE FOR SOLENOID VALVE BUILT IN CARBURETOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5965547
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve safety against the occurrence of a fire, by securing a lead wire device capable of completely removing the danger of fuel seapage at the leading-out part of a lead wire connected to a coil of the solenoid valve built in a carburetor.

CONSTITUTION: A coil lead wire 10 to be connected to a coil 9 in a solenoid valve (b) built in a carburetor is led outward passing through the inside of an insulating plate 7 and connected to the core wire 14 of a lead wire 13 past via grommet 12 inserted into an upper carburetor wall 1. At this time, a stepped cylindrical metal device 25 whose one end has a collar 17 is inserted into a stepped through hole 24 in the insulating plate 7 that is going to pass through the core wire 14, and an elastic insulator, for example, an O-ring 26 is installed in an outer circumferential part of the metal device 25. And, the stepped cylindrical metal device 25 is caulked at the lower side of the insulating plate 7 and forms a collar part 23. Then, the core wire 14 passes through an inner diameter part of this metal device 25 and, after the lead wire 10 is coiled round an end part projecting from the collar part 23, is coupled together by means of soldering 20.
