Title:
LEADING EDGE STOP FOR ALIGNING PAPER SHEET ON FEEDER TABLE AND FEEDER TABLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3388005
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To minimize members and movable parts and to avoid transmission loss between an adjusting means and a leading-edge stop by making the leading- edge stop itself as a control means in the leading-edge stop for aligning paper sheets on a feeder table of a printing machine.
CONSTITUTION: Sheet papers 1 are conveyed from right to left to align the sheet papers 1 on a feeder table 7 and the leading edge is brought into contact with a screw head part 2, where they are aligned. Then, the sheet papers 1 are received by the following conveying means. Thereafter, a front lay member 10, i.e., the screw head part 2 is rotated by rotating a front lay shaft 5 in the sheet paper conveying direction until the screw head part 2 reaches below the sheet paper conveying face. The sheet papers 1 cross over the screw head part 2 and are conveyed under an aligned condition to the first printing unit by the conveying means. Then, the front lay shaft 5 is rotated in the opposite direction and the stop 11 becomes vertical again to the sheet paper conveying direction. In this case, an individual screw head part 2 can be screwed into the position for alignment in accordance with dimension of the sheet papers and kind and thickness of the paper to be printed.
