To provide a novel leak tester for drums wherein only by setting a drum at a specific portion, all subsequent operations and tests necessary for leak test can be automatically performed.
A leak tester includes a base 11 on which a drum D can be mounted, a receiving member 14 for determining a position of the drum D on the base 11, an indicating member 15 for indicating a position of a content ejection port D1 on a top face of the drum, an intake member 16 having a nozzle 16c which can be airtightly fitted into the port D1 aligned with the indicating member 15 from upward, a suppressing member 16 for suppressing swelling of the drum top face at the time of feeding air, a measuring device for internal pressure of the drum and a determining means (microcomputer 25) for determining whether a measured value is at a reference value or higher.
