To provide a leak tripping mechanism which is easy for assembling in a simple structure, and a plug for a vehicular charge cable capable of performing a reset action by utilizing the leak tripping mechanism without using a handle.
The leak tripping mechanism includes a trigger lever 2 supported with a frame 1 and tripping a contact, and a plunger 7 for rotating the trigger lever 2 at the time of generating electric leakage. The leak tripping mechanism is a structure in which the trigger lever 2 is returned with a return spring 8 of the plunger 7 after tripping by making an end of the trigger lever 2 connect with the plunger 7. In the plug for a vehicular charge cable, the leak tripping mechanism is buried inside a plug body 10 arranged on an end of the vehicular charge cable.
