A leakage detection apparatus includes a ring-shaped sheet 6 which is disposed along an inner circumferential surface at a position where the occurrence of leakage is estimated in a pipe arrangement 1 which has such a pipe diameter that a worker can enter the pipe arrangement and in which a fluid is passed, a ring-shaped core 7 which restricts the inner circumferential surface of the ring-shaped sheet, pressurizing means 8 which is added to the ring-shaped core and press-fits both side edge portions 6a and 6a of the ring-shaped sheet to the inner circumferential surface of the pipe arrangement, pressure fluid supply means 10 which supplies a pressure fluid to a test space 9 formed between the ring-shaped sheet and an inner surface of the pipe arrangement, and leakage detection means 11 which measures pressure variation in a pressure fluid supply system to detect leakage in the pipe arrangement.
