Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leakage detection tripping unit capable of suppressing temperature rise in the vicinity of a connection terminal part of a circuit breaker.SOLUTION: A leakage detection tripping unit 4 externally attached to a circuit breaker includes a main circuit bar 7 serving as an electric circuit. On one end side of this main circuit bar 7, a connection end terminal part 7a is provided which is a connection portion with respect to the connection terminal part of the circuit breaker. The other end side of the main circuit bar 7 is connected to a load terminal part via a terminal plate 8. A load terminal part vent hole 17 is formed on the surface on the side of the load terminal part in a housing body 11 and an upper surface vent hole 18 is formed on the opposing surface. The main circuit bar 7 is interposed in a passage between the load terminal part vent hole 17 and the upper surface vent hole 18.
