Abstract:
To provide a leakage flux flaw detection head and a leakage flux flaw detection device system capable of reducing additional inspection working hours for a next process by reducing a dead zone in leakage flux flaw detection of a round rod up to approximately 0 to 20 mm.SOLUTION: A leakage flux flaw detection head 2 includes: a magnetizer 20 comprising a yoke 21 and an excitation coil 22; a sensor part 23 for detecting leakage flux leaked from a surface flaw of a round rod W magnetized by the magnetizer 20; a body 24 for supporting the magnetizer 20 and the sensor part 23; two pairs of left and right guide rollers 25 mounted to the body 24; and a balanced support mechanism that is mounted to the body 24 or the magnetizer 20 between the longitudinal directions of the two pairs of left and right guide rollers 25, and supports balancing of the body 24 while abutting on the surface of the round rod W when either pair of guide rollers 25 from among the two pairs of left and right guide rollers 25 exceeds the edge of the round rod W.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
