PURPOSE: To accurately detect the signal leakage spot in a broadcasting/ communication network and to accurately discover the lack of a contact plug or the inadvertent foregetting of the closing of a case, by constituting the title detector so that the leakage spot is detected using a fine loop for detecting a leaked electromagnetic wave.
CONSTITUTION: A small variable condenser 11 is connected to a fine loop 10 composed of a coil of several turns having a wire diameter of about 1mm and a diameter of about 1cm in parallel so as to be capable of being made synchronous to a VHF band and a UHF band. A signal is taken out from one terminal of the fine loop to be connected to a band-pass filter (BPF) 13 through a contact plug 12 and the output of the BPF 12 is connected to a mixer 15 through a high frequency amplifier 14. A local oscillator 16 is also connected to the mixer 15 and the signal from the high frequency amplifier 14 is converted to an intermediate frequency signal by the mixer 15. The output of the mixer 15 is connected to detector 18 through the intermediate frequency amplifier 17 and a display device 19 is operated by the output of said detector 18.
