Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install in a shaft seal portion of a screw compressor, a leaked-oil recovering structure for efficiently and stably recovering a lubrication oil leaked from a shaft seal device without installing an additional component.SOLUTION: A clearance between an inner periphery of a shaft hole 32 formed in a casing 30 of a compressor body 1 and an outer periphery of a driving shaft 20, is sealed by a shaft seal device 60. An oil reserving space 34 for capturing leaked oil is disposed around the driving shaft 20, on a position near an outer side of the casing with respect to the shaft seal device 60, and a boss 45 is externally fitted onto a driving shaft body 21 in such a manner that an end face 45a of the boss 45 disposed in power transmitting means 41, is positioned in the oil reserving space 34. A step portion 23 formed by the end face 45a of the boss 45, restricts movement of the lubrication oil to the axial direction of the driving shaft 20, and the lubrication oil in the step portion 23 is scattered to the outer peripheral direction by centrifugal force attending rotation of the drive shaft 20, and captured and recovered in the oil reserving space 34.
