Abstract:

To fix an oil receiver in a posture by which leaking oil can be received and stored in the form suitable for a small space by providing a magnet, which fixes a container main body in the vicinity of leaking oil in the from for receiving and storing the oil and attracts a structure of an engine room, in a part of the container main body.

While a grip 2 is held by fingers, a container main body 1 is inserted below an installation position for an oil filter in an engine room of an automobile so as to be fixed to the bottom face of the engine room by means rubber magnets 3, 3 through their magnetic force. In this process, a leakage preventing part 1b is tilted downward desirably. In this condition, oil supply to the oil filter is stopped, and its inlet and outlet are removed from an inlet pipe and an outlet pipe in an oil circulation passage by loosening their screws, and then, the remaining circulated oil in the inlet pipe and the outlet pipe leaks from these pipes. The leaking oil is received from an opening part in the container main body 1 of a leakage oil receiver so as to be stored in it.
