Abstract:
To reduce gradient disappearance caused by an activation function in a deep neural net.SOLUTION: A learning device in a deep neural net including multiple layers gives a common input signal and a different parameter to each perceptron 301, 302 belonging to the same layer in the deep neural net. Then, the learning device propagates a product of two output values from the perceptron 301, 302 to which the common input signal and the different parameter were given, respectively as an input value to a next layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
