To provide a leather-like sheet material produced by applying an aqueous dispersion of a polyurethane resin to a fibrous material substrate and coagulating the resin by heating, and free from the problems of conventional material comprising insufficient migration preventing effect and insufficiently improved feeling of the produced leather-like sheet material.

The leather-like sheet material contains an aqueous dispersion of a polyurethane resin composed of an anionic polyurethane resin having 0.3-6wt.% carboxylate group (COO-) and/or sulfonic acid anion group (SO3-) based on the weight of the polyurethane resin and the aqueous dispersion further contains two kinds of nonionic surfactants having an HLB of 10-18 and an inorganic salt.
