Abstract:

To provide a leather-like sheet-shaped material that has excellent wear and abrasion resistance and drape properties and a method for producing the same.

The leather-like sheet-shaped material is obtained by laminating (A) short cut fiber nonwoven fabric mutually entangling ultra fine fiber of single fiber fineness of 0.0001 to 0.5 dtex and a fiber length of 1 to 10 cm and (B) knitted fabric. The short-cut fiber of 1 to 10 dtex that can generate extremely fine fiber of 0.0001 to 0.5 dtex are entangled by needle-punching, then the extremely fine fibers are allowed to generate to form the extremely fine short-cut fiber nonwoven fabric, then the nonwoven fabric is overlayed on the knitted fabric and they are laminated at the pressure of 10 MPa with high speed fluid treatment, then the laminated fabric is dyed.
