PURPOSE: To obtain a durable leather-like sheet material having excellent flexibility, by laminating a skin layer composed of a polyurethane resin having a specific softening point and a woven or knit fabric of polyamide fiber with a two-pack type polyurethane resin adhesive layer.

CONSTITUTION: A leather-like sheet material usable as an instep leather for shoe is produced by laminating (A) a skin layer composed of a polyurethane resin having a softening point of 130W160°C and synthesized from a polyester selected from polybutylene adipate, polyhexylene adipate, etc., and 4,4'- diphenylmethane isocyanate to (B) a woven or knit fabric of polyamide fiber using (C) an adhesive layer composed of a two-pack type polyurethane resin derived from a polyester selected from polybutylene adipate, polyhexylene adipate, etc., and an aromatic diisocyanate, etc. An artificial leather resistant to cracking and peeling and having excellent durability can be obtained by using the sheet material as an instep leather material for an injection-molded shoe using a polyvinyl chloride as a shoe sole material.
