Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leather-wound steering wheel wherein in a core metal periphery of a ring part, so as to be along a forming direction of the ring part, a hard part and a soft synthetic resin part softer than the hard part are arranged, even by arranging leather in the periphery of the soft synthetic resin part, an R sag is prevented from being generated in the end of the leather, outward appearance thereof can be made attractive.
SOLUTION: In the periphery of a core metal 4 of a circular annular ring part R, so as to be along its forming direction, a hard part 6 and a soft synthetic resin part 13 softer than the hard part 6 are arranged. In the periphery of the soft synthetic resin part 13, leather 15 is arranged. In an end part in a side of the soft synthetic resin part 13 in the hard part 6, an annular groove 9 fitting an end 15a of the leather 15 and a columnar support part 10 capable of directly supporting in the vicinity of the end 15a of the leather 15 are formed. The leather 15 is arranged by fitting the end 15a to the annular groove 9 while bringing in the vicinity of the end 15a into direct contact with a peripheral surface of the support part 10.
