Abstract:
To provide a light emitting diode (LED) drive circuit and an LED illumination device capable of driving an LED appropriately even in a case being connected to an arbitrary phase control type dimmer.
An LED drive circuit can be connected to a phase control type dimmer and drives LED load by inputting a voltage based on an AC voltage. The LED drive circuit includes: an adjustment signal generation part that generates an adjustment signal according to a characteristic of the connected phase control type dimmer; and an adjustment part that adjust a characteristic for driving the LED load in response to the adjustment signal.
